Caldwell High School has three business computer labs, a computer lab for foreign language courses (Spanish), and a main computer lab with 40 laptop computers and 25 desktop computers. The facility has a wireless network able to support many portable devices including the 90 Chromebooks in the math department and 130 in the English department. Students use Chromebooks with Gaggle monitored email accounts and Google docs and they submit assignments online using these tools in many classes. They are required to return a signed parent consent form to have access to their classwork using the Internet.
The Caldwell High School website images are updated by Mrs. Nikki Stephens, who adds information and great photographs. Classes to help students gain technology skills include Internet Business, new this year, and the business courses Introduction to Business Computer Applications and Business Computer Applications. Through BCA, students have the opportunity to pass a test to become Microsoft Certified in MS Word and Excel.
