welcome to mr. Art Studio going to be doing a reproduction are these crazy fast Jr artist pastels the next thing with the oil pastels is that we can talk and maybe some of the dangerous chemicals that you need to use a pass Junior artist oil pastels these are the colors that you're going to need some yellows I have a darker medium in a really light yellow and then a nice range of blue that have a dark blue medium light very light blue using two different Green Forest Greene & Greene have a little bit of blue in here and then I'm using this just as brown paper towel to clean up my oil pastel can you see how dirty my wife and a pencil he's always remind me of taking test so what I like to do is look at the Moon shapes we have in this painting at all triangle right that comes up straight and kind of goes down in an angle this cypress tree in the middle of the painting an angle up this way of circles on start drying these basic shapes in here are drying should fit in this space right here so this should just be cut off so just drawn that you're just let's find a middle part of this page so this is where cypress tree be and it comes off the top of your paper was going to put them in a little bit the cypress tree or the shape to draw in the mountains so there's one mountain that's coming up for this curves a little bump and then over here doing a little bump coming in front of it another month and then in front of when we like a little Hill another one and it just comes up and over the trees in the foreground is what's closest to us let's go ahead and draw the church so I'm just going to start this hill began is just draw a tree are not putting the bottom on instead of it and then from this little Point here where this roof hits this corner right here another triangle without a bottom but a little bit taller and there's a line here and there's also a rectangle in here how to draw a square on top of this roof triangle things in here just follow along with me another line two lines that are parallel that are diagonal across the top and down and then another roof and then I just want to indicate where these Hills are down here send you some curves if there's also a hill right here some bushes right here and here is the basic parts of the middle ground up to the sky turns off the top of the second Hill over from the cypress tree the straight along the top of these bumps and then once we get close to the hill where in the carpet back and curve it back again and make a little bump at the top draw this nice in line at kind of comes down behind the trees and then up at a bump do the stars on drawings this shape not that shapes I'm driving that shape not this middle part let's go ahead and put our big shave for the moon going to be up here I hear the shape for the New Orlean because it's going to help us Place Our Stars so we have is this current that's coming down curbing up and coming down about like this case we just have this nice curved line and we have one that's coming under it it's a little thinner right here and then comes into just a little ball in an out of this from inside of that follows it and Curves in around that so once you drive this current or the snow movement that's going on in the sky let's go ahead and draw the rest of the stars stars go ahead and draw one up above it smaller one here big big one right next to a cypress tree pull one up here large one in here and then a small one up by the current now let's go ahead and let's just take my medium Blue Jays going to start shooting in some of these mountains going to take one of my dreams and I'm just going to block in the green of the street so just take your green and kind of block in the colors of your cypress tree with your darker blue go ahead and block in this area and here and then with the stalker Blue Anchor darker blue and I'm just the side of it I'm just doing everything above this line just be careful not to draw over your stars or you're going to have a green star once we have that lost and let's go ahead and we'll put a lie blue in here so I'm just going to choose my lightest color put in here and I'm also going to lock in this blue that's going on the swirl in the sky in the village let's just take the same blue that we but if you're in the mountains when I'm just going to come and go over the village a little bit here I want to cover up my house is completely put in hair going to take the green a little bit now let's work on where the stars are so take your life yellow and we want to make this pretty dirt covering this area completely now do we have those basic things out let's go ahead and let's start putting some definition in some of these I'm just going to grab a medium blue antenna start shooting in some of this hill right here where does making these Dash marks along these Hills following the Contour of them anime I hear there's some trees right in here and I'll take that same flu in the spring up into the sky and make some wine if this was water flowing along this line right here we're just making our prayer it's coming through the sky with current goes around our moon using my lighter blue gems going to come along the bottom of this guy and move this line sacre bleu into spring in the night just a little bit and then I'm going to take my darker blue and bring it into this world I'm going to get my flu and him to put it up here in the sky bring it kind of around the Moon basic shapes in things that are blocked in we need a few more light Parts down here in the village grab some of the blue on Eric Williams taking my white mixing it with the blue drawing over these shapes that we had in earlier and I do want to take my wife and put it in this hill trying to follow the same lines here what's an over downtown was also grab are green just going to put in some shapes down in here in Cypress Tree is closest to us with go ahead and work on that one darker green bowls I'm going to take my light yellow mix it in making that lighter green with my yellow there's kind of a lighter Green in here just a little bit and then I'm going to take my brown and bring it into the cypress tree let's just get a little bit more blue in here darker let's go ahead and imma take the sweater color and go over the top just kind of fill in these areas that are blank with the spider color take your black top mountains this one right here case we can have a little definition in there let's go ahead and start bought a little church some drinks he's around Easter put the black in here this is a really dark Hill right here where these Hills meet each other at 10 it's dark so I'm just going to put some black on the top of it and just kind of Blended in a little bit and I need to make this field a little bit darker in here I'm just going to grab I'm going to come in here and just ask someone will bring it out to the edge here Mark's that I'm making most of the time precious look like a c now let's take that black and let's go ahead and go over the cypress tree now let's work on our Sky I'm going to grab this Orange make this nice Crescent Moon and then I'm going to take my white you are messed up on the shape of your moon for listener the white with the blue it's not going to matter too much if I put my white over my yellow but I don't want to put my blue over my yellow or else I'm going to have green I'm going to bring this blue describe are yellow and some of them are bigger or smaller also why we have this yellow down in The Villages actually some yellow part so just dropped on her can you can drop some yellow in there once we have the dots in the middle of our stars with work more on our Sky let's work first in this area right here is white grab your black and outline the bottom of that as soon as I add more lines in here and then bring your taker medium blue and let's go ahead and put some of those awesome lines back in the sky now let's take our light blue start feeling in these are fairies with it with the motion and movements that we were using before around the Moon around this world notice for doing dark underneath and lighter on top I'm going to take my lighter color and just go over some of these in here they're just too dark what's going on in the sky that we kind of lost as we smashed it all together I'm going to take my black and I'm going to put some of it up here let's go ahead and take the dark blue some of these lines coming around the Moon almost like you're doing a dashed line around them look at your drawing and just looking any parts that don't really make sense to you or you would like to make darker add more color to into my sky the last thing is this white anywhere you kind of lost the lines can Prevost dashes in there okay so this is just the beginning tutorial with using oil pastels and hope you will experiment with him a little bit more and have a wonderful day
